Access to Les Portes du Soleil
Avoriaz: Nestled in the heart of the magnificent Portes du Soleil, Avoriaz stands as a gateway to adventure and inspiration. To begin your journey into this breath-taking area, simply take the “Ardent” lift from the large Ardent parking area. It’s here, high above the valleys, that the ski school gathers, ready to guide you on an exhilarating path of discovery. Ardent is located a short drive away from Chalet Soleil and serves as an excellent parking option. The telecabine lift from here provides direct access to the heart of the Les Portes du Soleil ski area, making it a convenient meeting point for skiers and visitors alike.
Morzine: Just a short drive from the Chalet, Morzine awaits you with its charming Savoyard village. Here, you will find four main lifts that transport you seamlessly between the exhilarating slopes of Morzine, the delightful les Gets ski area, and the breathtaking Avoriaz ski area, even extending your adventure into Switzerland. Ski school gathers at the “Pleney” Telecabine lift, with convenient parking nearby.
Châtel is a charming village located a short distance from the Chalet. Over the years, it has developed into a popular destination. The village features two primary telecabine lifts: the "Super Châtel," which connects to Switzerland, and the "Châtel/Linga," which links to Morzine and Avoriaz. Ski schools are based in this area, making it convenient for skiers. Additional, parking facilities are readily available nearby.
Les Gets is situated in the adjacent valley and is connected to Morzine via numerous ski lifts. It is easily accessible by car, with several excellent parking facilities available. Ski lessons commence at both the base station of the gondola and the summit, where additional parking is conveniently located next to the golf course.
